#TrapTuesday With Out Of This World Rapper, Spunky Galaxy
Published 2 years ago by

It’s Tuesday and you know what that means right? We get to profile a talented and up and coming artist who primarily makes Trap Music. Today we feature Johannesburg born rapper, Spunky Galaxy.

Lebogang Mashigo, commonly known by his stage name Spunky Galaxy is a next generation rapper who was born and bred in Jozi. He makes a cross between Hip hop, Soul and Trap music and the result is something as interesting as his name.

The 24 year old rapper caught the attention of record labels all across the country when he dropped his debut EP, Odyssey. This was accompanied by the tracks Backyard Flow, All The Time and Tokyo, which essentially introduced his unique take on music. The EP’s success earned him a cover on the 2017 issue of hip hop magazine, Hype, The Collector’s Edition.

One thing which is interesting about Spunky Galaxy is his incredible flow and hard hitting content. These are things that only a dedicated Hip Hop scholar would know. He is a great storyteller who can only get better with time.

Spunky Galaxy is a distinct artist who should not be ignored

Backyard Flow dropped earlier this month and has a distinct Trap heavy sound to it. He raps about always been in the studio, making music and steady making heavy money moves.

Spunky Galaxy has ambitions about getting to the top and being an internet kid, that is way more possible because of his reach. The kid sounds fresh and refined and we are all about the wave he is on. From his flow to his rap style, nobody can do it quite like Spunky Galaxy can.

He is currently working on his craft and is set to release his sophomore EP, FNTSY LND (Fantasy Land). The project is due for release in February 2019. We can’t wait!

Link up with the kid on Twitter and Instagram for more on his music journey.
