Published 3 years ago by

It is not a secret that Trevor Noah is by far one of South Africa’s best exports; fresh off of performing at 4 sold-out shows in Washington, the award winning comedian and host has bagged his first ever Emmy in L.A over the weekend.

The Daily Show hosted by Trevor Noah bagged the Creative Emmy award for Between The Scenes, in the Outstanding Short Form Variety Series category. The show beat other short form series’ such as The Star Wars Show and Epic Rap Battles of History.

This is not the first time that Noah has made us proud. The comedian has earned multiple awards this year with some including Best Host at the MTV Movie and TV awards and a NAACP Image Award For Outstanding Literature for his book, Born A Crime.

Noah went on Twitter to express his gratitude for the win

Twitter has responded with congratulatory messages, peep them below,
