Robbie Malinga raised eyebrows and broke a few hearts this week when he revealed that he was sick and on the brink of death at one point. When speaking to Sowetan earlier this week, he opened up about his illness and how he is on the road to recovery amid his fears for his family.
Twitter fans obviously read this article and have been speculating about his health for some time now. When the award winning composer and artist was trending this morning, peeps on the social media app thought the worst. It turns out that the reason he is trending is because he plans on releasing a new album, a few days after celebrating his birthday. This is his 5th album and it boasts features from Dr Malinga and Naima Kay to name a few. The 9 track album is set to drop on the 17th of November.
The general consensus is that of relief from fans was that of relief with some confessing that they thought that he had died.
