Lamaj Wrecx

Lamaj is another musician who is killing it with cover songs. But she takes a different stance on it. She reinterprets masculine songs and adds her feminine perspective to them. She blew out of the water with the cover she made of DJ Maphorisa and Mlindo The Vocalist Amblesser. The cover song currently sits on 686k Youtube views and it is worth the listen. The cover tells the woman’s side of the story, addressing the reseason why she is leaving her lover. If you have heard H.I.M’s replies to H.E.R than you will understand this exchange. She has also done a cover of KLY’s Umbuzo and mashed it up with 6lacks Nonchalant.
