Masia Sound Productions (MSP) in association with Tropika presents the All Weekend Annual Vaal Tropika Beach Party 2012. MSP has been running this exciting event which falls within the Vaal River Carnival in the Spring break period since the year 2010. The All Weekend Annual Vaal Tropika Beach Party is fast growing in popularity and media presence. It has a following of at least fifty thousand people of which 70% are in the 18 to 26year old age group and 30% being the 27 to 45year old age group which makes this event very lucrative and an attractive platform for corporate advertising and promotions companies.
The first event on Thursday (30th Aug 2012) is a comedy show which will showcase some of our country’s most popular acts like Trevor Gumbi, Chris Mapane, Mashabela, Thomas Gumede, Tall a$$ Mo, and etc. at the Vereeniging Civic Centre in the Vaal from 19:00pm till 02:00am. The second event on Friday (31st Aug 2012) will be the Vaal Tropika Beach Pre-party that will include the Miss Tropika Island Babes 2012 beauty pageant at Emerald Casino E & E centre in Vanderbijlpark from 19:00pm till 02:00am. The pre-party will be a “bar and lounge” style party featuring well known dj’s like Oskido, Naves, Spectacular, Zintle, Infinite boys, the Vaal finest King Deetoy, Deep Rooted and a performance by SMC that will be entertaining the 3000 strong crowd building up to the most coveted main event. The main event on Saturday (01 Sep 2012) which has proved to be the biggest crowd puller of the entire weekend, will be hosting +/- 30 000 people from all provinces in South Africa. The Vaal Tropika Beach Party crowd will be entertained by well-known national and international acts such as Micasa, HHP, Khuli Chana, Black Coffee, Big Nuz, Rocco, Euphonik, Fresh, Ralf Gum, Black motion, Shimza, Pro Kid, L Tido and etc. Plus TV/Radio personalities like Bonang, Twasa, Happy K, Groff and MSP’s Lebo Metsing will be this year’s hosts. The event will be held at the Vaal show grounds in Vereeniging, from 12:00pm till 05:00am the next morning. On Sunday (02 Sep 2012) at the Vaal Tropika Beach Sunday the 15 000 strong crowd will be entertained by famous adult contemporary, afro pop artists and Dj’s like Zahara, Zonke, Eddie Zondie, Paul Mtirara, Ishmael Ibrahim, Jazeal Brothers, Donald, Vinny da Vinci, Bucie, and etc. to close the fun packed weekend on a calm and relaxing note. The event will be held at Dick Fourie Stadium, Three Rivers in the Vaal from 12:00pm till 22:00pm. Tickets will be available @ R200 (general admin) and R750 (VIP) through Computicket, Shoprite & Checkers from the 24th August 2012. This event is a NOT TO BE MISSED weekend long affair that will cater for all age groups, races, diverse musical and entertainment tastes.
