Summer might be slowly fading out here in South Africa but that is no reason not to cop this heat. Vans is making sure that they own the summer of 2018 with the new Yacht Club Pack collection. The collection is meant for the warm sunny weather by the beach with the cool breeze blowing through your hair and floral shirt.
The Yacht Club pack is a collection of the iconic Vans Slip-On and the Old Skool silhouettes that are reimagined for the summer season. Both sneakers feature a color-blocked colorway that immediately stands out and screams out summer. The Old Skool features a sunburst yellow leather heel and indigo blue upper lace detail and a chlorophyll green canvas side panel that all come together to create a cool contrast of textures and color. The Slip-On was kept slight simpler with the whole shoe made from different colour canvas but still keeping the same colorway. Although the shoes may seem too out there, they will not prove difficult to be styled and worn with your favorite chinos or jeans.
Even though summer may be temporarily done on our side, you can still scoop you a pair and wait for the summer season to kill the streets. Check these out in the meantime. Let us know what you think.
