Aubrey Qwana is blissfully relatable in visuals for Molo
Afro-soul sensation, Aubrey Qwana has released the visuals for his 2020 single, Molo. The visuals for Molo were directed by Darion 4K and sees Aubrey pay homage to his real friends.
Aubrey Qwana has been consistent since his break out collaboration with DJ Tira for the Ngaqonywa (Remix). The singer, songwriter, producer and arranger has effectively introduced his unique brand of soul music, blending Mbaqanga, Maskandi, Arna Zion, Hip Hop and R&B. His subject matter is also quite personal as is seen on his latest single, Molo where he sings about recognizing the fake people in your life. Instead of fighting them, you keep it moving.
The music video for Molo is not flashy by any means, instead, it is quite relatable and down to earth. We get a glimpse into the day in the life of Aubrey Qwana as he introduces us to his day ones and his lifestyle. A striking balance between the new and the old. The music video is a telling story of sticking with the ones who consistently prove that they are in your corner.
We see Aubrey out and about in the hood, getting his fit and hanging out with his people. Blaq Diamond, Sjava and Skits By Sphe being among some of the cameos in the music video.
