Boity teams up with fellow female rappers- Nazizi from Kenya and Lioness from Namibia for the visuals of their joint song, Switch It Up
It looks like Boity is putting in work on the down low- we stan a queen who moves in silence. The latest drop from the rapper is a music video for a joint she did with two exceptional female rappers from other African countries. This is something she teased on her Instagram page recently.
In case you didn’t know, Boity was a part of this year’s Coke Studio Africa cast. And may we add, she was the ONLY representative from South Africa. This meant that what she was doing wasn’t just to prove herself as a rapper worthy of praise and acceptance into the South African scene.
But she was also representing her country. She was teamed up with two other rappers who were equally as talented- Lioness from Namibia and Naziz from Kenya.
The joint is titled Switch It Up and more than anything is a song about empowerment, regardless of the gender. The message settles a lot easier given the easy-on-the-ear beat as well as the hard hitting bars from the ladies.
Boity went onto her Instagram to share a teaser of what could be visuals from the song which was shot in South Africa. We see the ladies, looking every bit of the queens that they are and owning their thrones. It actually looks refreshing.
We cannot wait to peep this and while we wait, check out the performance from the Coke Studio Africa.
