Rising internet star, J Molley is proving that he is in a league of his own. The young artist who made his name and grew a solid following on the internet is proving that having a huge financial is nothing when talent is in abundance. He recently released a short film named after his solo debut offering, Dreams Money Can Buy.
The short film was shot, directed and edited by J Molley himself and gives us a perspective into what helped inspire his album. Much like the music on DMCB, this short film is surreal, hypnotic and ethereal.
The editing, especially in the first scene, is fast paced which allows the viewer to feel like they are experiencing the disorientation. J Molley is also a crazy great actor with an intense array of emotions.
Usually when a video is shot in the night time, the quality may be compromised. The night scenes are nicely shot and add to the mystery of the short film. There is a nice balance struck between the artistic vision of the film and the music.
J Molley is well on his way to becoming a pioneer in a movement of his choosing.
