The dopest DJ duo in the country, Major League DJs, have just dropped the visuals for their summer hit song, Do Better. Featuring the collective efforts of Riky Rick, KLY and Patoranking who are successful artists in their own right, Do Better is an excellent love song and the video has dropped just in time for the party season.
Do Better dropped back in April of this year and we were impressed with the sound and the approach that the guys decided to take on this. This song is most possibly the freshest and coolest song that the DJs have done when considering some of their biggest hit- Slyza Tsotsi. The mixture of artists and the different styles and elements they bring to this can be described as pure genius.
The video is about a guy, who is played by the yummy NaakMusiQ, has a crush on a girl who is having her heart broken by her asshole boyfriend. She sees her man flirt with another girl, runs out of the room and breaks down. The guy follows her and comforts her and they end up chatting and spending the entire party together.
This video tells the story about a guy who is bold enough to pursue his love interest with the hopes of making her see that she can do better than her current. The visuals for this are actually quite sick and the quality it top notch. I actually loved the feel that the video gave- almost like it is telling a story within a story. Plus the party they are at looks like it is lit as hell.
Studio Space Pictures handled the direction of the video and can we also say that KLY owned the video. Patoranking and Riky Rick also shine in their own way and bring their best on the song and also in the video. I think it is safe to say that the the Major League DJs have a winner on their hands.
