Nasty C and Ari Lennox make the concept of long distance lovers real in visuals for Black And White
Hip Hop superstar Nasty C drops the visuals for his Black And White video on Friday. The Kyle White directed video features Ari Lennox and depicts the excitement of new love just in time for Valentine’s Day. Black And White is taken off Nasty C’s latest album Zulu Man With Some Power. The visuals for the single come after the single was added on the Coming 2 America soundtrack.
The music video was shot between the breath-taking backdrop of Table Mountain in Cape Town and Washington D.C. Ari Lennox and Nasty C play lovers who are defying time and space to be together. Displaying a long distance love that is a reality for so many people, even more so because of the pandemic. They don’t let this deter them, instead they make use of the resources they have to show each other how much they mean to each other.
Upon the release of Nasty C’s third album, Zulu Man With Some Power, fans of the award-winning rapper dubbed Black And White as one of the most impactful collaborations on the album, giving Ari Lennox a new wave of fans in Africa. This style of collaboration is not new to Nasty C as he has made impactful love songs along with Tall Racks signee, Rowlene with Phases and SMA. Ari Lennox is also not new to collaborating with rappers having worked with BAS on the hypnotic single, Amnesia.
SA’s most streamed artist continues to re-define the cultural landscape through his art and music. The track Black And White has been tapped as the lead single off Rhythms of Zamunda: Music Inspired By Coming 2 America. The soundtrack will be available on the 5th of March.
