WATCH: Rowlene Embodies A Boss In Visuals For “Stop” Ft. Nasty C
Published 5 months ago by

Rowlene is expected to release her latest body of work, 11:11 in November and to tease our taste buds, the singer and songwriter released Stop. The Trap and R&B influenced single is about her coming into her power and finally knowing her worth. She features Tall Racks boss, Nasty C.

Stop is the first single to come from Rowlene’s upcoming body of work, 11:11. 11:11 is a 12 track offering which features Nonso, Omari Hardwick, Manana and Nasty C. With additional songwriting credits from Bubele Booi, Fermin Suero, Jr., Ndumiso Manana and David Balshaw.

In the music video for Stop we see Rowlene in a forest setting before it gets to the second part of the song where she looks to be in a desert. In all the scenes of the video, she is embodying a boss and dressed in couture clothing with an attitude to match. This is equally matched with her ruby red hair, a bold statement in its own right. Reinforcing this idea with the lyrics of the chorus:

“I’m a C.E.O, see me oh gettin’ paid
You ain’t on the payroll but you askin’ for a raise
No I’m not the coach but I heard coach say, “I’m a star player, and you’re an exchange”

11:11 is available for pre-order here and it’s expected to drop on the 13th of November. This body of work follows
