Sjava Wins Coveted BET Award!
Over the last couple of months, Sjava as well as Cassper and Distruction Boyz have been on a mission to get votes for this year’s BET Awards. The three were the only South African artists nominated and have been campaigning for us to rally behind them.
Donned in his traditional Zulu attire, musician Sjava walked away with the coveted BET award on Sunday night at the prestigious event. The Ambitiouz Entertainment artist was nominated for the Viewers’ Choice Best International Act category alongside Nigeria’s Niniola and Kwesi Arthur of Ghana.
Sjava accepted the award by singing his hook from Seasons, a track he did for the Black Panther Soundtrack. He thanked his fans and producer and basically everybody. “Where I come from, people don’t get here so being here and winning this award will make a lot of people happy back home”.
