Get up to date with all things culture from this past weekend.
Last Friday the Match in Africa took place at Cape Town Stadium. The A-Listers of South Africa made their way to watch the inconsequential score line of 6-4 3-6 6-3 to Roger Federer.
The numbers that were significant though, were 51 945 – a world record number of spectators watching a tennis match, and US$3,5 million – the amount of money raised last night for the Roger Federer Foundation.
Billionaire, Bill Gates and Comedian, Trevor Noah were the doubles partners for Federer and Rafael Nadal as they raised money for the education of African children.

Sunday was a busy day as crowds made their way to the Pink Day celebrations at Wanderers Stadium while the Proteas and England drew the series.
It’s Pink day tomorrow 👅 I’ll be performing at wanderers where the boys will #PitchInPink to raise funds for and awareness about breast cancer. RETWEET if you’ll be there, LIKE if you’ll tune in 😁💕 pic.twitter.com/wOHC9QwNEB
