This Conference is an initiative that forms part of UPE’s Woman’s Month Celebration Concerts taking place on the 17th and 18th August 2012 in Johannesburg (The Bassline) and Cape Town (Zula Sound Bar) respectively, which will feature performances by International Artists Rapsody, rap group Act Proof and Grammy winning Producer 9th Wonder, local supporting acts are Miss Nthabi, Kanyi and Vardz. The Conference aims to educate and provide knowledge about the music industry to upcoming female artists, producers and individual involved in the music industry. Although primarily focused on females, the conference can be attended by any individuals involved in the music industry or wanting to know more about it.
In addition to 9th Wonder, Rapsody and Act Proof the Conference will also consist of notable experts from the South African music industry. The conference is going to take place on the 17th August 2012 from 12 pm to 2pm at the Bassline in Newtown Johannesburg. To register for the conference go to www.soulecho.co.za.
