You know you are at a great party when you check your twitter time line and find out that the gig you are at is actually trending and everybody that you know would sell their left arm to be in your shoes at that moment. I certainly felt like a king this past friday at the YFM’s King of Thrones youth day celebrations at the Blue Room in Jozi.
The show was produced by the gay ancestor and super choreographer Somizi Mhlongo and boy did he pull a great show. One of the highlights of the show for me was seeing the ever so friendly J’something from Mi Casa showing off some mean dance moves, for a white boy this nigga can move. The line up was crazy as it featured AKA, Khuli Chana, Toya Delazy, The Muffinz, DJ Cleo, Teddybears, Teargas, Cashtime fam, YTKO DJ’s and a whole lot more. Tumi Voster tweeted “Well done to @TamariaM @somizi @Hypress lastnight’s show was amazing! Was so happy to be part of it!
