K.O is dropping his new fashion line with Studio 88 on 23 November, Black Friday
We love celebrating our favourite celebs’ milestones and it helps that they share them with us. Yesterday, Eloy hit maker, K.O shared on social media that his clothing line, Skhanda Clothing, DustnKOmpany, will now be available at Studio 88.
The clothing label dropped early 2017 and has always been intended to be a street wear label instead of artist merchandise. The clothing label is called DustnKOmpany named after the fact that they are from the dusty streets of the townships. So far, the label has been available at Fashion Kraal, which is situated in Braamfontein.
He shared his frustration with how he, along with his business partner, Tsholo, encountered limitations when it came to expanding the reach of the clothing line. But he also shared his excitement considering that Studio 88 have given them a chance to have their brand in their stores.
“For the longest of time me & @tsholosa have had distribution limitations with my clothing line @skhandaworld and now through blessings that led to other blessings @studio88_branded has just opened its doors for us!”
He continued: “Super humbled by this humongous opportunity as black entrepreneurs, our sincerest gratitude goes out to every key player BTS who contributed to this empowering turn of events”
He also promised that a new summer collection will be available in stores on the 23rd of November.
Studio 88 is South Africa’s largest branded fashion and footwear retail chain of stores. It carries the best brands including Adidas, Converse, Dickies, Guess, Jockey, Kappa and Vans to name a few. And now, it will house a proudly South African brand, Well done K.O!
