Singer, Songwriter ZanoUrban has released his long awaited debut album “Colours Of My Soul”. Colours Of My Soul represents different shades of ZANO as an artist, different shades of love with regards to the lyrical and musical content in the album as well as different shades of the human experience and emotions.
To make this possible he worked with producers such as Mr Luu [Point5] [Khethe Wena, Different Lifetime] , Sir LSG [Stay In], The Layabouts [No Lie] , Afrikan Roots [Take It Slow] , and Cuebur [Dolo, Avotete]. Other featured artists include Thiwe [Oceans Apart], Nathan Adams [Stay In] from the UK, Ayanda Jiya and NVeigh [Tonight] ,Uhuru and Dicklas One from Angola. [Avotete]
“Creating Colours Of My Soul has really been an amazing journey. I startedworking on the album 18 months ago and we’ve had to chop and change the concept several times until we found one that we were sure would work. The final product is nothing short of artistry at its best. I wanted to find away to interpret my own musical identity within the dance music culture and we came out with what I truly believe will be the blueprint for a lot more other artists to come. I believe in my artistry, in my ability to create work that would be considered a classic, I believe in the gifts and talents that GOD has blessed me with” expresses ZANO.
