This week on #ZKSnaps we see our fashion forward celebs change it up. Whether it be with their hair or their drip, they’ve certainly got the style on lock.
Bringing the heat to this cold winter we have the queen herself, Bonang Matheba snapping away as she shows off her vibrant and wavy red locks. Queen B basically broke the internet when she shared a mirror selfie using her Samsung Galaxy Z flip smartphone after garnering over 170 000 likes on the post. This fiery hairstyle of queen B has certainly got us excited for the premiere of the icon’s two part reality show, A Very Bonang Year, which airs on SABC 1 at 6pm on 1 August. Indeed, the countdown has begun!
Also keeping it fiery with the hairstyle, we have the very daring Leago Scars pushing the fashion boundaries as usual. In this western inspired outfit, Leago pairs off a colourful pair of corduroy bootleg pants with a slightly cropped knit jersey. He then throws on a pair of complementary blue cowboy boots and an oversized blazer for that finishing touch.

Inspired by The Sartists Sports Series and KasiFlavour10 we did a football inspired editorial that is inspired by the escapism in South African black homes during apartheid that found their freedom through style and football. This work was not only a personal project but also a pitch to FIFA @easportsfifa to have Local African work featured in their international roll-outs. We’re looking forward to do doing more of this work that seeks to not only be representation but also inclusion in the global voices of football culture.
Next up we have The Sartists Sports Series and KasiFlavour 10 football inspired editorial as detailed above. According to Wales London the shoot was inspired by the escapism in South African black homes during apartheid who would find their freedom through style and football. As a more personal project this shoot aims to encourage FIFA to incorporate the featuring of more local African work within their international roll-outs.
Lifting our spirits and encouraging us to be more grateful for what we have, is the very bold and stylish Big Zulu who styles it up in a classic pair of Brentwood pants.
Next up, Blue Mbombo shows us what the new norm looks like as she snaps in a nude toned outfit featuring classic white Air Force 1’s, a Chanel bag and of course, a face mask.
Lastly, rocking the very vibrant prints of MaXhosa, we have Bongani Mohosana. Pairing the look with some shades, the musician sets out to embrace the sunny winters that Durban has to offer.
