Zonke has announced details for her upcoming show at the Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City. Booked for Sunday the 2nd of June, She will be performing with a 20-piece band and performing all her original work on stage. The show will be recorded live and produced for her upcoming DVD release, ‘Give And Take’. The DVD will be Zonke’s first personal release on her brand new label, Leely Music.
The past 15 years have seen her go from an emerging artist to a superstar and, after having left the Kalawa Jazzmee stable to start her own recording studio and label, Zonke is more sought after as a producer and performer than ever before. The show at the Lyric Theatre is her first show in a while that she has produced for her fans exclusively, rather than performing on existing bills. Zonke has a strong hand in the creation and production of the event and the DVD that will emerge from this show is guaranteed to be immense high quality entertainment.
